Canadian Music Week 2011

Every year Canadian Music Week descends upon Toronto just before spring officially hits – though it’s clearly the first major hurdle toward summer festival season: the weather is colder and generally all-around more miserable as bands, fans and journalists alike saunter from venue to venue seeking out some of their hometown favourites, out-of-province imports, or some of the rarer international acts that somehow make it on the primarily Canadiana-filled bill [not that we're complaining about that one ;) ].
This year – through sleet, and… well… more sleet – THE iNDiE MACHiNE tackled stairs, animals, crowds, bottles of Labatt 50 and more than several slices of pizza to catch up with a slew of amazing bands. Stay tuned as over the next week we unveil to you all just a little bit of what we got to experience during Canadian Music Week 2011… that little bit that we managed to capture on … flash memory?! (not sure that sounds as romantically cool as “on film”).
And hey! Maybe you wanna share some of your odd or amazing stories with us? Drop us a line! Maybe we’ll post some of them??….. :)
