THE INDIE MACHINE

It was reported over at NME today that Los Angeles four-piece ‘Warpaint’ will release their debut studio album on October 25th. The LP will be titled ‘The Fool’ and is produced by Tom Biller who has also worked with The Liars and Sean Lennon. You can check out the album art along with the tracklisting over @ NME. Below you’ll find our video footage from Warpaint’s recent NXNE set here in Toronto. And speaking of Toronto, the band will be back on September 29th at Massey Hall with The XX. An experiment in sonic explosives, LA’s Warpaint made their declaration of battle clear when they hit the stage at The Horseshoe Tavern during NXNE 2010. Check out their tracks “Stars” and “Beetles”. Warpaint on Myspace.

CMJ 2009 proved to be huge success for this all girl band out of Los Angeles, California. After the buzz in New York in late October they were signed to Rough Trade Records and it’s no wonder. Check out “Billie Holiday” below.
