The Darcys keep on trucking….

by David on Mar.22, 2010, under Music Videos, News

The Darcys have certainly gone through some turmoil over the past few months. First, the loss of their lead singer Kirby Best. Now, just today, they’ve announced they will be pulling out of a show at the end of the month at Tattoo Rock Parlour. Through it all they continue to do their thing the best way they know how, by continuing to play music. After losing Best, the band headed back into the studio to remix their soon to be released sophomore effort, ‘Young Believers’. Then came Canadian Music Week where they played two incredible shows to a packed house both nights. I know….I was there. Check them out on ‘The Untold City’ talking about the new and “super willing to continue” Darcys below. You can also read the Toronto Star article about their feelings on Bill 167 and how that indirectly resulted in them cancelling their gig at the end of the month here. The Darcys play Lee’s Palace April 17th with The Junction & Amos The Transparent.
