The iM spends alot of time promoting up and coming artists in the Canadian music scene. If you haven’t caught some of our ‘Sessions’ or ‘Wired’ series video’s, now is your chance to check some of these artists out. Our videos from the month of August are below. Every single one of us has a devil inside, and The Indie Machine is no different: this week we indulged our inner demons and joined up with Toronto’s Black Devils Brigade at THEIR locale to put together battleplans for a war-like onslaught of the music-loving populous. Check out their songs “Killing Business” and “The Fire Code” and then go spread the word about Part A of Operation: Infiltrate….we need more infantry.

Machines are a funny thing….remember Voltron? The more you hook up the more awesome it becomes….the same thing happened when Girl + The Machine stopped by The Indie Machine: it was an unstoppable flurry of mechanical musical fury! Girl + The Machine will be live on The Indie Machine this Thursday night. The band released their debut album ‘Hello Earth’ last year and are currently working on a brand new EP. Toronto’s ‘All Day Driver’ will be live on The Indie Machine tomorrow evening. As individuals they have played with the likes of Oh No Forest Fires, The Hidden Cameras, Holy Fuck and Gentlemen Reg just to name a few. The band recently released their self-titled debut EP. Toronto’s wordPEOPLE will be live on The Indie Machine this Thursday night. The band released their debut album ‘People’s Eatery’ last fall.
