New Release: MAD ONES – Burning Window
We’re big fans of Toronto rock duo MAD ONES: their heavy distortion, friendly attitude, and sweaty energy-filled live show help ensure their place as one of the most consistently fun-to-watch rock acts in Toronto.
Earlier this week, guitarist/vocalist Andrew Devillers and drummer Phil Wilson dropped their latest five-song effort Burning Window, and the Crispin Day (Dreamhouse Studios)-recorded/Noah Mintz (Lacquer Channel)-mastered effort sees the duo return in fine form, though maybe a little more laid back than we’re used to from previous outings or the songs’ once-speedier renditions from live shows past – check it out in the embed below.
MAD ONES also dropped a gritty found-footage-style music video for Miracle Intention – the first single off the release – a couple weeks back (see below), and are offering the track up for FREE DOWNLOAD on Soundcloud in support of the release.
The hard rock duo hit the stage tonight in Toronto at The Horseshoe Tavern with THE DIRTY NIL, THE ARCHIVES, and THE BEVERLYS, and tomorrow in Hamilton at The Casbah with GREG PRESTON & THE GREAT MACHINE – either one of those shows is well worth your attendance.
