Video: THE LINES – Rivers
It’s been a while since we talked about Wolverhampton, UK rock quartet THE LINES, but it seems since releasing their debut self-titled LP back in 2010 they’ve since followed that up with a summer 2012 EP entitled No Illusions, No Cheap Tricks.
This update isn’t about that release, but about yet more new material: as last month the band debuted the video for their latest single Rivers – off an as-yet-unnamed upcoming release – which you can check out in the embed below. It’s also available as a FREE DOWNLOAD via Music Glue for the low low price of your email address.
Filmed and Produced by Tim Askew and Jade Beard of Beard Askew Productions, the video is a fun stop-motion look into a day-in-the-life adventure of a papercraft boat. The track itself is definitely a change from the pulse-pounding light-show-adorned set we caught from the quartet when they were visiting Canada back at CMW 2011; slightly more stripped down, but the instrumentality is definitely still there, so we’re eager to hear what the lads put out next on this new release.
