iM Video Premiere: LONNIE IN THE GARDEN – Skeletons vs. Beasts

January 16, 2013

Last we caught up with London, ON psychedelic folk rockers LONNIE IN THE GARDEN they had just released their excellent debut EP Psychedelic Cottage, though we’ve been fans of London’s so-called “best live band” since they closed off our NXNE 2012 showcase at Rancho Relaxo.

The band – featuring members of fellow London/Out Of Sound Records acts WILD DOMESTIC and WHOOP-SZO – has been hard at work on their latest video effort for Skeletons vs. Beasts, and we’re pleased to debut it in the embed below.

Directed and produced by Chris Hachey of Faraday Co., the video features frontwoman Lynne Craven and the other members of LONNIE in the wooded areas surrounding London as they prepare for a nighttime cabin performance, interspersed with shots of Craven in mid-dance with a group of female followers. It also features a lot of Craven’s ankles, so if you’re into that sort of thing you’re in for a treat.

Not that kind of treat perv.

LONNIE IN THE GARDEN start their mini tour of the Toronto-Montreal corridor tonight in Oshawa and end with a Toronto performance with iM and Exhale at Clinton’s Tavern on Jan. 24th (see dates below).

Upcoming Tour Dates:

01/16 – Oshawa, ON @ Murphy’s Pub and Grill
01/17 – Peterborough, ON @ Red Garnet
01/18 – Montreal, QC @ Divan Orange
01/19 – Ottawa, ON @ Pressed Cafe
01/20 – Kingston, ON @ The Mansion
01/24 – Toronto, ON @ Clinton’s
