Video: JULY TALK – Paper Girl

September 20, 2012

When it comes to Toronto-based blues-tinged hard-rock quintet JULY TALK, there’s really nothing summery about their sound – if you want to count the carefree party-time (let’s get loaded) atmosphere that pervades their live show, well then yeah… that’s kinda summery.

We’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with (read: getting a little tipsy with [read: drinking a shit-ton]) frontman/frontwoman duo Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay in the past and we’re super stoked that they’ll finally be releasing their full-length self-titled debut on October 16th via White Girl Records

Earlier this week, the quintet dropped their black-and-white talking-head-style video for lead single Paper Girl and it really helps to showcase their gritty blues-rock full-band blowout musical persona alongside the throwback b&w visual aesthetic they’re fond of – get acquainted with them in the video below.
