Video: ELOS ARMA – San Diego
Toronto technical pop-rockers ELOS ARMA yesterday dropped the video for San Diego, the lead single from their upcoming EP MOTHER/FATHER. Directed by John Ker and filled with crazy animal costumes – also seen in some of their previous videos, do I detect a theme? – the video is a real slick piece, with some excellent production values.
The track itself is a high-energy entry with syncopated rhythms, unorthodox guitar lines and group vocals. ELOS ARMA has always had an excellent handle on mixing nonconventional concepts with accessible pop-punk to create a very interesting musical blend; this newest entry showcases a band that is evolving and growing while still retaining their unique brand and sound.
Keep an ear out for San Diego and more when MOTHER/FATHER is released on July 9th. All the band asks for the album is that you pay with a tweet, so I’m guessing it’s within your budget.
