F5 (Refresh): INLET SOUND

Website / Facebook / Twitter / Bandcamp
With their upcoming full-length debut The Romantics only a few weeks off in the summer, Hamilton folk-rock outfit INLET SOUND are preparing to unleash a massive storm on the horizon.
Produced by Laurence Currie (SLOAN, WINTERSLEEP, HEY ROSETTA!), the new album will be a combination of new tracks and fan favourites – and as anyone who’s familiar with the band will likely tell you, it’s sure to be a swirling journey with acoustic/mandolin/violin fronted folk-rock that can be calm enough to help you drift off to sleep or enough ensemble chant-vocal-inducing-piano-heavy romps to get you up on your feet and clapping along to the beat.
INLET SOUND will be officially releasing the first single off The Romantics on Aug. 4th at The Rivoli, before heading out on an Eastern Canada tour throughout the month that’ll see them through Ottawa and Montreal all the way out to Halifax.
Stay tuned for more INLET SOUND details in the coming days as we count down to the release of The Romantics – until then, get acquianted with the band’s excellent Sept. 2011 EP Dream Awake in the embed below.
