If you’re familiar with The iM, you’ll know we’re big fans of Toronto pop-rockers BROKEN BRICKS. So… we were excited to learn that the band recently debut a double single a couple of weeks back – now it’s your turn to listen in.

Check out It Won’t Get You High and Fortune Out Of You in the embed below. The band had this to say:

“This single you are likely listening to was recorded in a cavernous basement on the very same board we recorded our first release Pasquale on in 2009. Except this time around, we had the tracks mixed by the great Adam Fair. We wanted to capture a no frills example of what can be accomplished on a small budget, real instruments, no computers and very few takes. We’re a rock ‘n’ roll band. We believe in the simple power of song.”

In other news, the boys are set to rock Rancho Relaxo this coming Saturday June 16th, and you really ought to be there – you can thank us later.
