Video: PARLOVR – Holding On To Something
Montreal low-fi slop-rock heroes PARLOVR have just released their video for Holding On To Something, the lead single from their newly-released sophomore LP, Kook Soul. We’re already fans of PARLOUR here at iM, and this video only makes us love them more.
The video depicts a loose storyline between the members of the band, and is deliciously weird in its delivery and content. It’s a real strange piece, and it’s captivating in its entirety. Listen to it on a good sound system and stick it out to the end; I’d call you a liar if you deny the chills that run down your spine when it’s over.
The song itself is also a winner, one that grows on you with repeated listens. Hear the band play this song and more of the album at their two NXNE shows this week, at The Silver Dollar (Friday @ 11 pm) and Yonge Dundas Square (Sat @ 2 pm).
