Video: WINTERSLEEP – In Came The Flood

Website / Facebook / Twitter / Soundcloud
With their upcoming third full-length LP Hello Hum set to drop on June 12th via Capitol Records/EMI, Juno-winning Halifax-based indie-rockers WINTERSLEEP recently released the official video for new single In Came The Flood.
Directed by Sean Wainsteim (YOU SAY PARTY!, TOKYO POLICE CLUB, BORN RUFFIANS), the video was inspired by the visual esthetic of multi-camera television musical performances from the 70s and 80s (ala Dick Clark/Johnny Carson), and showcases the band gliding through a studio space with pulsing lights – a motion that the press release likens to “sliders on a sound board” – check it out in the embed below.
In other news – WINTERSLEEP is set for the musical guest spot on George Stroumboulopoulos tonight on CBC, and the band will be steaming Hello Hum in its entirety as part of an interactive listening party on Sunday night (May 27th – 7PM EST) on their website, where fans can chat live with the band during the stream.
