We last caught up with Uxbridge ON indie-rock trio AIR MARSHAL LANDING back in the fall with the release of their single Bourgeoise: a catchy number we made sure to include in a mixtape. Though at the time the trio were chatting up their impending 2012 debut LP release, the three-piece are now additionally preparing for a new digital EP release on June 19th – set for the PWYC DOWNLOAD treatment – entitled Vitamins.

Produced and mixed by Nygel Asselin (HALF MOON RUN) at B.C. recording studio The Farm, the five-track EP (track list below) serves as a follow-up to the band’s 2009 debut EP The Industry, and a precursor to the fall 2012 release of their debut LP (Title TBA); the band is also prepping for summer tour dates across Ontario supporting Vitamins.

With their full-length debut allegedly in the final stages of the mixing process, and knowing that the songs on Vitamins were written at various times over the past five years, it’s difficult to say for sure whether the fall release LP will be all-new material, or whether summer release Vitamins is indeed a sneak peak at things to come on the full-length debut.

Regardless, the band claims they’ve “been taking their Vitamins and are ready for whatever comes next”, so if this sneak peak (video below) is any indication, we’d say that’s a fair assessment.
