Named for the third-longest river in Italy – and really, the important one since it’s the one that cuts through Rome – Toronto’s RIVER TIBER began as the solo project of 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist Tommy Paxton-Beesley and quickly found it’s footing in the Toronto scene, expanding its live roster to a quintet.

Following up their debut LP release of shoegaze-heavy From Now On, just last month Paxton-Beesley and Co. dropped their new EP Massachusetts and you can snag a copy for yourself as a FREE DOWNLOAD over on their website.

While much more stripped-down than their earlier effort, the Paxton-Beesley is currently working on a second self-professed electronic-sounding LP and doesn’t show and signs of slowing down with his live crew in tow – check out their latest video offering “Symmetry” in the embed below to see what you’ll be catching at a 3AM extended last-call on Friday night at Rancho Relaxo.
