With the genred catch-phrase “country, soul, and rock-and-roll”, Toronto twang-tinged rock quintet MEANWOOD strive for a rip-roaring good time at every show; and when you front an instrument like a banjo, that’s saying something.

Since releasing their debut EP Trials back at the end of Jauary 2012, the female-fronted five-piece has played a number of promient shows across the city – including a shoulder-to-shoulder gig at The Dakota Tavern which professes a plethora of photographic evidence that indicates quite the night indeed.
