With the genred catch-phrase “country, soul, and rock-and-roll”, Toronto twang-tinged rock quintet MEANWOOD strive for a rip-roaring good time at every show; and when you front an instrument like a banjo, that’s saying something.

Since releasing their debut EP Trials back at the end of Jauary 2012, the female-fronted five-piece has played a number of promient shows across the city – including a shoulder-to-shoulder gig at The Dakota Tavern which professes a plethora of photographic evidence that indicates quite the night indeed.

Stream Trials in the embed below and see for yourself why you should be heading to Rancho Relaxo on Friday night for CMW for our co-promo showcase with our friends at Two Way Monologues.
