ICYMI: HIPSTER DEATH SQUAD – Paris To Montpellier / Good Times Again

True to our former assessment of indie electro pop-rock act HIPSTER DEATH SQUAD as a songwriting machine back in November 2011, the Winnipeg-based crew with Michael Glucki at the helm have continued to put out release after release each month, and continued their Light-Brite fueled covers in multi-coloured splendour.
Remember that stuff, Light-Brite?? My cat used to try to eat all the glowy pegs. Crazy.
While some of their earlier releases were straight-laced electro-rock – or even chillwave – it seems HDS is going the ambient-infused electro-pop route this time around. Check out some of their recent 2012 releases in the embeds below: “Paris To Montpellier”, and “Something Good Happening” along with its B-side “Alibi (Believe It)”.
In other news, HIPSTER DEATH SQUAD has been stripping things down for bedroom demos and iPhone captures for their most recent releases – you can check that out over on Bandcamp HERE, or find more info on HDS over on Facebook HERE.
