After the fall departure of drummer Andrew Bartle for a big-kid brewery gig in Ottawa, Toronto indie-pop trio THE NATURAL SHOCKS were reduced to a two-man team…

…technically…

This geographic displacement doesn’t seem to have slowed them down though with yesterday’s teaser release of “Change” off an as-yet-untitled late-summer EP follow-up to 2011′s Complete With Comfortable Lighting.

The track is a sort of musical shift as well from their previous efforts – it’s fuzzy and dirty… and it’s insinuated through a Facebook wall chat that the track’s percussion is indeed sampling of Bartle playing – so like I said… technically a two-piece right now – check it out in the embed below.

For more info on THE NATURAL SHOCKS, hit them up on Facebook HERE or head on over to Bandcamp for a FREE DOWNLOAD of their 2011 debut LP and new track “Change”.
