Video: BISHOP MOROCCO – Old Boys

With a roster expansion from duo to quartet and a new six-track EP Old Boys set for release as their Arts & Crafts label debut on March 13th, Toronto’s BISHOP MOROCCO are sure to be going places in 2012.
Yes… we’ve been playing “Old Boys” on the show a lot as of late – and for good reason. It seems the new-wave-inspired act is branching out a bit in their latest efforts – easily evidenced by the titular single’s video.
Directed by Eva Michon, the video portrays the ghostly possession of a female teenage house-party guest by a 20-something girl – presumably another party-goer – who is recently-deceased; maybe she didn’t want the party to end? Check it out in the embed below and let us know your thoughts.
In other news, BISHOP MOROCCO are holding their official release party this Thursday in Toronto at Wrongbar with friends ABSOLUTELY FREE (the new project from former members of DD/MM/YYYY), and THE YARDLETS (ex-Broken Social Scene), which – if you’ve been to Wrongbar for this type of show – is going to be ridiculously awesome.
