Montreal indie rock trio The City Streets are no strangers to The iM – the band has worked with us on numerous occasions in the past. We were excited to learn that they will be releasing two new albums this coming spring and they have a track from each album available for your listening pleasure.

How I Pray, which features Colin Stetson, was recorded with Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Wolf Parade) at Hotel2Tango studios in Montreal and Nothing Can Be Planned was self-recorded in a small cabin on the Atlantic Ocean in Nova Scotia. If these songs are any indication, we’re in for something very special when the LP’s are finally released.

In other news, the guys will be touring Western/Eastern Canada, Northern USA, and the Eastern USA in support of these records in spring and summer, so stay tuned for additional info in the coming months.
