Award-winning Halifax singer/songwriter Rose Cousins is known for a great many collaborations including Joel Plaskett, Jill Barber, and recent 2011 Juno New Artist of the Year award-winner Meaghan Smith.

Cousins recently announced the upcoming release of her third full-length album We Have Made A Spark on February 28th through Outside Music.

Roping in friends and past contributors for the project, Cousins recorded Spark at prominent American studio Q Division – previously used by James Taylor, Aimee Mann, and Patty Griffin. Cousins is set to debut a new short film alongside the release called If I Should Fall Behind: a documentary about the heart of the Boston music community where the record was made.
