Our friends down at the Steam Whistle Brewery usually know how to throw a pretty banging show, and September’s Unsigned Indie Series concert was no exception.

The night opened up with Toronto indie rock duo Hotkid belting out some raw growling and screaming rock antics, but soon moved onto a much larger stage setup with the more layered electro-shoegaze style of Powers. Finally, things got a little dance-y near the end with the indie R&B/Reggae stylings of Toronto’s Bonjay.

Check out the photos from a rainy night that couldn’t stop the rock below – and hey! If you weren’t in the crowd, don’t let the rain deter you next time, after all… what better place is there to drink beer and rock out than in a brewery?
