While hanging out at Joao Carvalho’s amazing NXNE party this past weekend we happened upon a young singer/songwriter out of Toronto named Lauren Best and boy are we glad we did. Recently, she released her debut album and now that we’ve had the chance to check it out, we want you to do the same.

If you head over to her Bandcamp page, you can stream the album in it’s entirety or download it under the ‘name your price’ option but only for the remainder of today. Recommended tracks include The Nihilism Song, Crooked and Tangled Up With You. While you’re at it, check out a video of Lauren performing The Itch live below. For more info, visit her over on Facebook.
