Leaf Bird are a musical collective who hail from Chicago, Illinois. Although their debut effort was released physically back in the fall of last year, it just recently came out in digital format.  That is how I came across it. Oh, the power of the internet….it’s a musicians best friend. The EP has it all as far as instrumentation goes; banjo, trumpet, piano, accordion, saxophone and synthesizer. Head over to their Bandcamp page to stream the release in it’s entirety. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Their twitter bio reads, Leaf Bird is a sweet band from Chicago. I for one, couldn’t agree more. Check them out on Myspace. You’ll be glad you did.
