ICYMI: KITES OVERHEAD – You Are A Secret, And You Must Never Tell It

By David Marskell 2 February 2011 No Comment

Kites Overhead is the moniker of Gene Kondusky who hails from Toronto but now lives in Fredericton. Back in September of last year he released his debut full-length, You Are A Secret, And You Must Never Tell It. The album has been getting regular airplay across the country, especially in recent months. He counts Sigur Ros, Mogwai and The Postal Service among his many influences. Have a listen to Hearts and Minds, my personal favourite off the LP.  Head over to his Bandcamp page to stream the album in it’s entirety. You can also download his first two EP’s in exchange for your email address. For more on Kites Overhead, visit him on Myspace.
