Band Watch: THE B.B. GUNS

January 19, 2011

Garage rockers The B.B. Guns are new in town. Very new. The band consists of Alana DeVee (ex-Machetes) on guitar, Mike Warne (Pkew Pkew Pkew frontman) on drums, newcomers Charlotte Marie on synth and Laura Hermiston on guitar and lead vocals. Influences include The Cramps, The Kills and The Raveonettes. Head over to their Myspace page to stream a few of their tracks. Personally, I’m really feeling Mystery Girl. The 4-piece is set to unleash their sound on The Silver Dollar January 28th and then again at Rancho Relaxo on March 4th. Do yourself a favour, go and check them out. Something tells me this bunch is on the up and up.
