New Release: HOUSES – All Night

November 22, 2010

I first did a post about ambient electronic outfit Houses back in September of this year. There was something about their sound that really hit me at the time. Now, after a full month of listening to their new album, All Night, I need to speak again. Why? Because I want everyone to know about this incredible duo who hail from Chicago.

Houses is the work of Dexter Tortoriello and Megan Messina. Earlier this year, they spent time in Hawaii writing and recording the new LP. Upon their return to Chicago, the album was mixed and released on Lefse Records, also home to School Of Seven Bells and How To Dress Well. I highly suggest you head over to the site and pick up a copy. Recommended tracks include, Endless Spring, Reds and

. One thing is for certain, All Night is going to be in my top ten albums of 2010. For live dates and more, check out Houses on Myspace.
